| Canadian Hurricane Centre & EMO Centre Visits in Dartmouth |
| On Wednesday, October 10th, 2007 our WARC president, Jim VE1JBL and the Regional Emergency Management Coordinator for Cumberland County, Jim Hannon VE1AFH traveled to Dartmouth where they visited the Canadian Hurricane Centre and the EMO Centre. Thanks to Jim, VE1JBL I have the following pictures from their visits to show you. The first picture is Jim VE1AFH with Carolyne Marshall, Warning Preparedness Meteorologist with Environment Canada at the Canadian Hurricane Centre. The next two pictures are the actual Canadian Hurricane Centre operations centre. The last two pictures were taken at the provincial EMO Centre in Dartmouth. Carolyne Marshall will be one of the two presenters at the Regional Services & Outreach Section of Atlantic Canada presentation called the Cumberland County Scenario to be held on October 30th in Amherst at the Amherst High School, 7 pm.
