| WARC Amateur Radio Demonstration for the 1st Fenwick Scouts Jamboree on the Air 2009 |
On Saturday, October 17th, 2009 Bob Perry, VE1EDP and Lloyd Smith,VA1MAB gave a demonstration during the scout's JOTA "Jamboree on the Air" to the First Fenwick Scout Troop and their leaders at the E.D. Fullerton Building's EMO / WARC Club room. The photos and story here from this event were submitted by Bob and are from the JOTA held for the Fenwick Scouts hosted by Bob Perry, VE1EDP and Lloyd Smith, VA1MAB on behalf of WARC and the Municipality of Cumberland County. Contacts were made via HF, VHF, IRLP and EchoLink. The furthest contact was through EchoLink to Oslo, Norway. There were 12 Scouters which included the leaders that attended and all had great time.
