| A large crowd of family members and friends gathered at the Parrsboro Golf Club Clubhouse on the afternoon of Sunday, August 3rd, 2008 to help Irene and Bill Wheaton celebrate their 64th Wedding Anniversary. Several presentations were made to the 'young' couple and a bottle of Champagne was opened for them to toast the occasion. After sandwiches, the Anniversary Cake was cut and served to the guests which were all having a great time chatting it up and congratulating the happy couple. WARC members in attendance were Abbie Ross VE1BFB, Brad Ross VE1ZX, Peter Hebb VE1SM and Treva, Jim Cleveland VE1CHI and Nancy. Nancy took all of the photos here. Congratulations to Irene & Bill upon reaching such a milestone in their lives. May you have many more to come! |
