Lorne, VE1BXK and Brad, VE1ZX have been
working on the VE1CDN (Airport) repeater
in Brad's basement of late and here are the
photos Lorne sent showing the repeater and
work being done on it.

Here is Lorne's note he sent to me on 11th
December 2007 along with the photos:

"Recent work conducted on the Airport
VHF/UHF repeater system in Brad's
basement!

It is currently under going " ON AIR "
tests at Brad's QTH. To be installed
at a later date."

Reinstallation of the VE1CDN Repeater
  Neil VE1YZ, Lorne VE1BXK and Brad VE1ZX
returned the VE1CDN VHF/UHF repeater to
service on Jan. 10,2008.

Both the VHF and UHF MSR2000 repeaters
were interfaced using the updated MSR2000
procedure by Lorne VE1BXK.
Brad VE1ZX assisted in the interfacing and
configuration of these two
repeaters.

The RLC-1 repeater controller was updated with
the ADM (Audio Delay Module) on both the VHF
and UHF ports.

A complete realignment of both repeaters was
done for both on the TX and RX sections. RX
Audio and TX transmit deviation levels were also
completed.

A Decibel VHF DB-4060 VHF duplexer was
tuned using the IFR-2975 in conjunction with
Eagle return loss Bridge.

Of course, all of this work was conducted in
"Brad's Basement"as you have just seen in the
photos above.
